Death By Committee

Slightly tired. I increasingly find the admin of the Party frustrating as new ideas do not wash well with them. You come up with a strategy and require resources which the Party does have and a committee is appointed to look into it and report. By the time they come back your opponents who know they need to campaign to stay alive have already outdone you. Death by Committee.

I feel your pain. it is a credit that as a party we are democratic but we live that democracy through the lens of a different age (what did Wilson say of the Labour Party (in the 60s): a Penny Farthing in the Jet Age)...but how to change an, essentially voluntary organisation where some are wedded to branch meeting, filtering up to GC, EC, LGC...and then back down before you even start?
